Une composante essentielle du processus de délivrance de permis d’utilisation des eaux et d’approbation de plans d’activités minières de type 4 de l’Office est la réception de commentaires du public sur les demandes qui lui sont soumises.

Anyone can comment on a water licence and approval application and proceedings - this a called an intervention. This information (evidence) may introduce new facts, expert insights, local and traditional knowledge, and alternative viewpoints – ensuring that the Board’s decisions reflect a broad range of perspectives and community interests.

After you submit your comment
We publish the comments on Waterline so the public can see them. This also gives the applicant a chance to respond before the Board considers their application.

Once you have created a Waterline account, you may set preferences to receive email notifications of applications. You may set notifications for specific applications, as well as notifications based on the type of undertaking, the stages of the application process and various geographic areas.
